Posted: 02 Nov 2019 10:37 PM PDT I haven't owned a Nintendo console since N64, nor have I played a console Zelda game since Ocarina of Time, but have played a couple of the handheld games, I think the last one was Phantom Hourglass, but now I'm wanting to get back into it, especially with how great Breath of the Wild looks. I'm planning on buying a Switch this holiday season, maybe even as early Black Friday, but other than BotW and Link's Awakening HD, are there any ways to play older games, including the handheld entries, through the Switch or would I have to pick up older consoles to play the older games? Cheers for any help [link] [comments]

[LAHD] Link's Awakening is a Great 1st Zelda Game Posted: 02 Nov 2019 06:28 PM PDT Considering I've never played Zelda properly (Played the 1st and Link to the Past with Switch Online) Link's Awakening really is an experience worth playing with fun and strategic combat. I've also seen footage of the GB and GBC versions and it seems that there has been quality of life improvements, as well as having 4 buttons, 2 bumpers and 2 triggers instead of having 2 buttons. I would recommend this game to anyone because of it's appealing artstyle, fun combat and puzzles that make you go hmm. [link] [comments]

[BoTW] You know that thunder rock in the jungle? Posted: 02 Nov 2019 05:15 PM PDT Well the way I destroyed it is that I equipped a metal weapon and stood on top of it. Luckily I was smart enough to at least wear rubber armor and drink a shock potion. [link] [comments]
[OC] How plausible is a benevolent Ganon? Posted: 02 Nov 2019 01:50 PM PDT I'm interested in the concept of a Gerudo male, born after the death of a previous incarnation of Demise, who is raised with the knowledge of what he is prophesied to become, but (at least tries) to reject their role as the incarnation of malice. Like, say the Gerudo catch wind of the fact that all their men as of late have been consistently evil, and after the death of the latest male, they send the first newborn male to Hyrule to be raised as a Hyrulean citizen. Would this Hyrulean Gerudo male, given the knowledge of the prophecy, protected by the princess and the hero of the land, living in a culture of prosperity and peace, be capable of fighting the evil nature of the soul bestowed upon him by the previous incarnation of Ganon?
