    Is Ocarina of Time still the greatest video game?

    I think it is a fair and noncontroversial opinion to say that, in 1998, Ocarina of Time was the greatest video game ever released at that point in time (if you disagree with that claim, feel free to ignore this). However, since then, times have changed, games have advanced, sequels have improved on the foundations of their originals, and now, it's 2020 Compared to later video games, and later Zelda games, does Ocarina of Time still stand as the all time greatest?

    One of the reasons I think this is an interesting thing to think about is because people have varying opinions about other games, that are debatably not entirely based on their quality alone. For example, Twilight Princess was seen as being a bit of a disappointment, by many. However, is that because it was a weaker game, or was it simply because it didn't quite meet the expectations that were set on it by the time that had passed since Ocarina of Time? Could Twilight Princess have been superior to Ocarina of Time, all along?
