    [ALBW] Link Between Worlds is severely underrated

    Personally, I'm not super well versed in Zelda, but out of all the Zelda games I've played, Link Between Worlds is probably the best, second only to Breath of the Wild. The key is that they both have very different approaches to level design, but very similar approaches to environmental interaction. Breath of the Wild's open world and lack of any real dungeon make it very hard to have tight level design, but a huge focus is put on the physics engine that lets players approach problems from a variety of angles. Link Between Worlds has, of course, a much smaller overworld, but its dungeons feature layered level design that packs a lot of content into relatively small areas, and mechanics like the wall merge let you constantly explore and interact with the environment in really creative and innovative ways. Yet, in most Zelda discussions I've ever been in, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Breath of the Wild, Wind Waker, and Link to the Past dominate the conversation, while Link Between Worlds is rarely ever mentioned and consistently fails to crack the top five.

    It would be a dream to me if this game was ported to the Switch. Since it's a direct sequel to Link to the Past, it would be really cool if they remastered that game in the style of Link Between Worlds and released them on the Switch together, or if they remastered both games in the style of Link's Awakening. Of course, since Link to the Past is already on NSO this is probably never going to happen, but a man is allowed to have his pipe dreams.

    So, what do y'all think of Link Between Worlds? Does it deserve a remaster? Is it even any good? Am I delusional?
