    From the rule in the sidebar:

    Feel free to post news about new official merchandise whenever you like but for unofficial goods, or photos of your personal collection, please post them on Merchandise Mondays.

    The sub gets filled with people taking photos of their collections, their amiibos, their copy of [insert game here] as well as people wanting to sell you stuff. So we limit it to Monday's so it doesn't over take the sub.

    Brand new official merchandise announcements are allowed any day of the week, just unofficial merch or photos of your own merch is limited to today!

    [ALL] They say that all good things must come to an end. If that is truly the case...how would you like The Legend of Zelda series to end?

    I adore Zelda. It's been with me since childhood, since before I can clearly remember. And to be fair, not just Zelda, Nintendo itself (particularly Mario and Zelda, though). So of course, I love the world, the mythos, the characters, etc, etc, etc.

    But the one thing about The Legend of Zelda that always gripped me the most was the timeline debates. I loved those debates almost as much as I loved the game themselves, perhaps because I was forever searching for that one, definitive happy ending to the saga. Ultimatley, I'm happy that the timeline is clearer now. But at the same time, ever since the timeline was made official (and Skyward Sword was released), there's this feeling of doom forever hanging over the ending of every game, of every victory. Despite all the efforts, Demise's curse still lives on through Ganon. Of course, this has to be the case from a creative standpoint (in order to explain why the G Man keeps coming back all the time). But if the Zelda series was to have a finale, how would it play out in your mind? And do you think we will ever get an official final entry in the series? A definitive "this is the absoloute end of the timeline, no games take place after this one" from Nintendo, basically like Skyward Sword in reverse (which they made clear was the earliest entry in the series and would be for the forseeable).

    BOTW came very close, I think. It connected to all the timelines and hinted (at least to me) that no matter what, every timeline ends with BOTW for now. This is where they merge back together again. Personally, though, if we ever do get a finale, I would like to see an Avengers Endgame like scenario, with various time portals opening up, so we could revisit the different worlds of each game, and also get to see some old, familiar faces (Navi and Midna come to mind).

    Apologies for rambling, but just wanted to explain what I was really getting at while also putting my own thoughts out there. I would be interested to hear other Zelda fans thoughts on this.

    Curious what your vote is for most difficult temple? I can't decide between water temple in OOT, sky temple in Twilight princess, ganons castle in ALTTP, or the underrated snow temple in Majoras Mask (I probably struggled here more than most). What's your vote?

    [BotW] Finally! After 3 yard I finally finished the game as I wanted!

    100% with all koroks shrines locations and divine beasts All armor to max level including some amiibo armor (just missing 4 link amiibos, ocarina, majoras, windwaker, and skyward. Every diary unlocked on the dlc The 2 dlcs completed Every quest shrine quest and main quest All memory's Every material because I'm also a collector! Every horse armor, Medal of Honor, and of course the big golden s#%t hestu gives you!, best game ever

    [BoTW] In the flashback scenes we sow how potent a swordsmen link was before his 100 yr sleep, defeating armies of monsters by himself at once. Do you think Link has recovered his former strength like how he recovered his memories?

    [ALTTP] Is there a way to play “A Link to the Past” on switch?

    Have my BOTW device, I mean switch. Realized I have it sitting in the corner and wanted to play it. Really in the mood to play Link to the past.

    Other than downloading a rom on my pc what way can I play it on switch?

    I was reading that there was a type of remake, link between to worlds or something? Does that work for switch?

    Hi everyone! Please delete if not allowed. I just completed ALBW for the second time and i'm itching for more. I'm trying to decide between link to the past or links awakening remake, i've never played either. Let me know which one you think I would like more or if you think there's something else I would like? I'm generally more of a fan of 2D but I'm still open to try 3D. Happy to discuss more in the comments :)

    [SS][LAHD] Skyward Sword vs Switch Links Awakening

    Hi guys!

    So I have saved up enough money for one more game, and I am deciding between Skyward Sword and Links Awakening (switch version). The first Zelda game I have ever played was BoTW (which is by far my favorite game ever), so I am pretty unfamiliar with most Zelda titles.

    A few things about my game preferences: - I like motion controls, except for the constant calibration. Other than that they are fun to use imo. - I like both linear and open-world games; Super Mario Galaxy 2 and BoTW are my top two favorite games. - I want a game to be either really linear or really open world. For example, I didn't like the linear- open world combination of Super Mario Odyssey that much.

    As of now, I am leaning towards Skyward Sword as I hear it has great music and an amazing plot. However, I have heard great things about Links Awakening as well. Which game do you guys think I should get?

    OK, so i set fw in the entrance to the Temple of Time, and wrong warped to the credits by pure accident, has this been done before? or has it been documented?

    [ALL] Need some opinions

    I have a Zelda-themed sleeve of tattoos on my right arm going. I currently have Skull Kid (not in generic pose) with Tatl and Tael, Wolf Link and Midna, the Fierce Deity, and a sheikah symbol (botw style). Along with these I have 3 of the 6 medallions from OOT (Forest, Spirit and Shadow) so 3 remaining and only about room for 3 pieces left anyway so it works out well. I'm going for more of a lesser character for my next piece. I have some ideas, some more obscure than others. Just wanted some opinions from fellow Zelda fans. Okay so: first form Ghirahim, Garo Master + Garos, Morpha from the water temple, the Helmaroc King, the Poe sisters from OOT or Revali (spirit form with the turquoise flames). What do you guys think?
