[OoT] [BotW] Fi in Ocarina of Time??? (Theory)

    Posted: 11 Oct 2020 01:15 PM PDT

So... I recently beat Ocarina of Time 3D and I noticed something interesting. In the final battle right before striking the final blow the Master Sword starts to glow in a blue light and we hadn't any clue of what does that meant... untill now... In BotW we learn that Fi is still in the Master Sword and aids the heroes in critical moments, such as in the last memory. Its pretty uncanny if you think, the blue light and the look in Links eyes... seems that Fi is talking again, this time maybe warning Link that he must deliver the final blow quick. It's pretty obvious Nintendo still had no plans of Fi back then... but maybe its the same case of the goddess statue in Zelda II or something similar. I didn't find anything related to this in YouTube or Zelda Fanpages. So what do you think about this? images

    [BoTW]Where to go from here?

    Posted: 11 Oct 2020 10:13 PM PDT

My girl got me to finally play BoTW. This is the first Zelda game I've ever played and I have absolutely loved it. I still have A WAYS to go, but I was curious which game I should play next? Are any of them worth going back to? We pretty much own every system so it could be any of them.

[ALL] How did you get into The Legend of Zelda series?

    Posted: 11 Oct 2020 04:45 PM PDT

Hello! I just want to get some feedback because not everyone's experience towards this series is the same. I want to grow to appreciate it because my boyfriend really loves this series but it seems I can't get into it even though he streams the game for me (because I do not have the means to play them myself)... I want to be able to appreciate it too even if it's not the same way he appreciates it. I know how much this means to him..

[Botw2] Hyrule castle. restored or left as is?

    Posted: 12 Oct 2020 02:12 AM PDT

What do you think the fate of the ruins of Hyrule Castle and Castle Town would be?

Would they rebuild the town and restore the Castle or would they leave it ruined and abandoned as a reminder and memorial to the Calamity.

If feel that the latter is most appropriate. That part of Hyrule is a fucking gravesite for hundreds, if not thousands of people slaughtered by Calamity Ganon. I also feel like that might be the case in the sequel. left as is rather than resettled and rebuilt.

Same for Akkala citadel, left as is. A reminder of the last stand of the Hylian army.

[AOL] I just realized something. If Link completed the Triforce at the end of the game but only just collected the Triforce of Courage, was he just carrying the Power and Wisdom pieces with him the entire time?

    [AoC] guide question

    Posted: 11 Oct 2020 09:13 PM PDT

My kids are huge BOTW fans, but they relied heavily on the official gameplay guide. They're now counting down the days to AoC. Does anyone know the average timeline of getting a guide after the release of a game?

[HW] Who would YOU pick for a proper Hyrule Warriors sequel?

    Posted: 12 Oct 2020 12:51 AM PDT

Age of Calamity is a fun sequel to Hyrule Warriors, but unlike the original...AoC is constrained by it's canon place in the timeline and it's focus on one game in the series.

I really enjoyed the "Zelda All-Stars" focus that the first HW had and I've said it before, as a huge fan of the series (and one who probably has too much knowledge of it all), there were so so many more characters they could've added to the game from the different games in the series. Heck, enough to fill out an entirely new roster!

NES duology: Classic Link (they love adding more and more Links don't they

A Link to the Past: Agahnim

Ocarina of Time: Saria, Nabooru, Malon

Majora's Mask: Darmani, New version of Young Link with new mask abilities

Wind Waker: Makar, Milla, Gonzo, Aryll

    Twilight Princess: Ashei, Hena, Telma

Skyward Sword: Just let the Groose be Loose already

Minish Cap/Four Swords: Vaati (he's such a fan favorite; surprised he wasn't already in)

    Oracle: Din, Nayru, Veran, Onox

    Phantom Hourglass: Linebeck

    Spirit Tracks: Byrne, Cole

    Triforce Heroes: Styla, The Lady

    Link Between Worlds: Hilda, YuGanon

That's more than 26 fighters already!

If they were to make another Hyrule Warriors sequel. Perhaps even bringing back the time-bending duo of Cia and Lana....who would you like to see?

[LA] Which version of each game should I play?

    Posted: 11 Oct 2020 06:28 PM PDT

So I started my Zelda binge just a few weeks ago, and I'm planning to play through all the games in timeline order. So far, I've gotten through SS (Wii) MC (3DS VC), FSAE (3DS), and I'm halfway through OoT3D (3DS) at the moment. My question is, which versions of certain Zelda games (the ones that have multiple versions) should I play if I'm on a binge?

I'm looking to play the versions that bring the best out of the original, whether that be the original, or a quality remaster.

    Examples include:

    O = Original

Link's Awakening: (O, DX, Switch Remaster)

Twilight Princess: (O, GameCube, Wii, Wii U HD)

Wind Waker: (O, Wii U HD)
