    [LoZ] I had a chat with a friend about which Link is the strongest and I think that TP Link won, I mean the guy was stopping Ordon goats and shoving Gorons out of the way with his upper body strength (and ofc with the help of his iron boots) SS Link would be the bravest, the gameplay was horrifying

    Do you remember those scenes in the game where Impa or Sheik used a deku nut to disappear? what if when using it Link is paralyzed as the enemies in the game, giving said characters time to simply walk out of sight (or climb a tree?) before Link wakes up, in his Pov no time happened after all.

    Seriously. We need to let Nintendo have fun and make Zelda games without forcing them to be "canon" or have some impact on the future of the franchise. I get that Nintendo set a precedent with the OoT timeline split, but let's be real, that doesnt really matter. They hardly do anything with that plot-point-- if you can even call it that.

    But seriously... Yes, Age of Calamity causes a timeline split. But that doesnt mean we NEED future games that take place in that timeline. It doesn't mean BoTW 2 NEEDS to be connected to AoC. It doesnt mean AoC NEEDS to be added to the official Zelda timeline.

    No, what it means is that Nintendo wanted a fun game set in the Breath of the Wild universe that told a "what-if" story. Why can't we just let it be that? Why can't we just let Nintendo make a fun alternate outcome game without trying to force it to be canon and connect to everything else? Making theories is great and all but some of you are expecting this game to result in future games set in the AoC timeline or for the game to alter BoTW's story. There's no need to get all stressed and go "damn, not ANOTHER timeline split here we goooo" because if we're being honest, we will probably never see this alternate timeline pop up again and will forget it even exists by the time BoTW 2 comes out.

    You might be wondering "then why introduce time travel at all?" let's be real, time travel was the only way they were going to win the calamity lol. The only way they were going to even have a chance was with knowledge of the future and extra technology.
