    [ALL] Zelda themed challenges

    Posted: 19 Nov 2019 12:04 AM PST

This is my first post here so let me know if I'm in the wrong place

In one of my school clubs me and a few other seniors were tasked with making a set of challenges/games based off the triforce. I was given wisdom, and am having trouble thinking of anything to be done that's fun and competitive. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated. Keep in mind we are poor teenagers doing this in a school. Thanks

[BoTW] Do you want BoTW 2 to be more of the same or change it up??

    Posted: 18 Nov 2019 04:39 PM PST

I personally could get lost in an expanded BoTW with Link as the main protagonist and maybe Zelda providing support a la the new God of War. Do you want more playable characters or just more BoTW with an expanded map??

[BoTW2] An idea for what the plot could be

    Posted: 19 Nov 2019 02:01 AM PST

After the events of the Botw 2 trailer, we will see that the curse has been lifted off of Ganondorf. The spirit of Demise is no longer with Ganondorf, so he starts to have memories of his old life as the Gerudo king. But the spirit of Demise needs to find a new host, so who does it cling to?

    Princess Zelda.

Turns out the curse likes to cling to people who are royal leaders. Now Zelda will be the "villain" throughout the whole game with no recollection of her old life, and Link must try to bring her back to normal, without killing her of course. Link is going to need some help though, insert Ganondorf redemption arc. Ganondorf will be Link's ally through the entire game vowing to fix a giant mess that he feels responsible for.

By the end of the game Ganondorf will notice how Link is 100% capable and dedicated to stopping the spirit of Demise at all costs, and after the final battle, after they rid Zelda of Demise's curse, they will come to the realization that Demise will always live on through someone. At this point Ganondorf will heroically volunteer to continue his role as being the vessel of Demise, because he knows that it's too evil of a fate to wish on anyone else, and he knows that Link will always be capable of stopping him. Thus continuing the prophecy that has always been true.

Just a dumb half thought out idea for a story that I thought would be cool, it'd certainly be an interesting literal spin on the phrase "The Legend of Zelda" and it would be a story that feels fresh. What do y'all think?
