    [ALL] My Take on Story and Map Inconsistencies in the Timeline

    I see a lot of people hating on the "official" timeline, and I can kinda see why. I don't like that these games have a timeline to begin with (and I don't think nintendo does either) but I guess it doesn't get in the way of my enjoyment. "So," you might say, "Why is (insert location here) in this part of the map when in the game before it on the timeline it was here?" and the answer to that, o reader mine, is that this is the Legend of Zelda, not the History of Zelda. You are playing through a legend, and how it is told may vary. This could be interpreted in a few ways, for example, there could be a whole mythos about the legendary tales of Hyrule's knights and princesses and evil-doers, or each game could be a different take on the same tale. I personally like the latter, but nintendo seems to believe in the former, but that's not what we're here for, I want to see what you think!

    This is my first post, please tell me if this fits as a discussion.
